Citing strong popularity of the Classics nationwide, Advisory Board Co-Chair May Papoutsy stated, "The intellectual and artistic achievements of the ancient world are timeless, their lessons relevant to every facet of our daily lives, form science and literature, to politics and religion. The Classics will endure for as long as we continue to learn from them." Topics explored each year by this series cover a range of subjects within Greco-Roman civilization including mythology, literature, history, philosophy, art, and language, and feature lectures by internationally recognized scholars.
All lectures of the series are free and open to the public. For more information about other scheduled lectures and symposia, contact Mary Papoutsy, Advisory Board Co-Chair, through Hellenic Communication Service at helleniccomserve@papcoholdings.org.
