Caroline Theodos Kardos Passes Away


KARDOS Caroline Theodos Kardos, age 80, formerly of Easton and beloved wife of the late Joseph Kardos, died Thursday, December 15, 2005, at Madison House a facility of Harborside, Madison. She was the daughter of the late Periclete and Harilia Alecks Theodos. A resident of Easton for many years, she was a retired caregiver in homes and at the Carolton Convalescent Home. She was the devoted mother of four children, a daughter, Jean Caserta and her husband, Roland, of Westbrook; three sons, Dennis Kardos and his wife, Carolyn, of New York, Gary Kardos of Easton and David Kardos and Janet Ohradan of Easton; a twin sister, Eva Demetri of Monroe; three grandsons, Ryan Caserta, Joseph and Michael Kardos and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Alison Caserta. Friends are invited to attend funeral services on Saturday at 11 a.m. in St. George Albanian Orthodox Church with the Rev. Sergei Bouteneff officiating. Interment in Lawncroft Burial Park, Fairfield. Calling hours will be on Saturday morning, after 9:30 a.m. in St. George Albanian Orthodox Church, 5490 Main Street, Trumbull. The Commerce Hill Funeral Home, 4798 Main Street, Bridgeport, is in charge of arrangements. At the request of the family, please omit flowers.
